Tributyl phosphate is referred to as TBP. Molecular formula C12H27PO4, structural formula (C4H9O)3P=O. Colorless and odorless liquid, melting point -80℃, boiling point 289℃ (decomposition), relative density 0.973～0.978 (20/4℃), refractive index 1.4215 (25℃). It is stable to light, miscible with many organic solvents, and insoluble in water.
